    Football. Belgium. Saturday 27/08.

    Kortrij +0.0 @2.14

    Stake 5/10

    http://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/belgium/jupiler-league/st-truiden-kortrijk-21Uzqu6E/#ah;2;0.00;0

St. Truiden without: Jorge Pulido(4/1 df, 1-2 top scorer)*, Proschwitz(4/1 at, 1-2 top scorer)*, Ono(2/0 at), Boli(0/0 at), Bagayoko(0/0 df). Kortrijk no missing players. Kortrijk is the deeper and more qualitative squad. St. Truiden without 5 players and two fresh missing. Good odds for this pick.

Football. England League Two. 08/10/16  16:00h

Tip: Crawley Town Double chance X2, 1.78 Bwin

    stake 5/10

    Home side:
Bad form, only 1 win in last 8 games and big injury crisis.
7 players: Sembie-Ferris (4/0), Dickenson (8/3, 2nd top-scorer), Lapslie (7/0), Loft (3/0), along with long-term injured players Briggs (26/0, last term), Garvan (32/1 last term), Kent (26/0) are out injured. Arsenal loanee Kamara (3/0) is away on international duty and in addition 2 more players Brindley (11/0) and Guthrie (11/2) are doubtful.

    Away side:
Newport sit bottom of the table but tomorrow it will be different side as highly rated coach Graham Westley who has done great job in Peterborough last season in League One signed contract with them and players will be eager to impress new boss.

I’m calling it a day with rugby betting, it’s just not punter friendly enough for me. Prices disappear in minutes, there is very little variation in price between firms and if taking it serioiusly I have to dedicate my weekend to getting bets on in small chunks. Then to top it all there is the weather to delay other bets for. For lads who aren’t limited or who have more patience than me and are happy to constantly pour over prices it’s still a good sport to bet on, the bookies are vulnerable but it no longer fits in with my work and weekend plans.

I’m switching totally to football. If I can’t make it pay which is by no means certain I’ll have a rethink. This year’s football spreadsheet isn’t currently good enough to punt blindly so I’m going to put my energies into sorting the wheat from the chaff. Absorbing football knowledge comes much more easily to me, it’s everywhere, but the real beauty is the betting aspect, decent betting limits, prices available for decent stakes days in advance and not disappearing immediately, not weather dependent, more competition between bookmakers, Betfair exchange  and Asia keeping them on their toes.  I’m enjoying my punting again, I’ve started to hit some selections hard and I’m looking to up the ante now.

I’ll keep going with the Rugby BoNG for this season as I want to collect the data in, so keep it coming please.

The end of an era! My Carribean island may take a little longer now.

No seriously thanks for all the figures over the years they have been invaluable to my betting in rugby.

    Good luck with the football!
